Today would have been Tom Reid’s birthday and he was an excellent actor-in-the-making. He played the part of ‘Slappy’ in ‘Homeless!’ and it was an honour to have worked with him as he brought to life many of the words I wrote.

A glass or two will be raised tonight in his honour – I rather suspect we won’t be the only ones with fond memories of Tom. John Tempest.
